If like me you want to pull 360s and other technical slides, it can help if your wheels progress into the slide very quickly. These 92a grippins have excellent thane and are so hard wearing, but out the pack they tend to grab a little too much. Hence the sanding. Believe me this is a lot quicker than rubbing them on your grip tape.
