Description
P.U.L.S.e team member Frank Williams decided to take a couple runs on Dragon's Tail on a cold winter day. The road was damp and there was an abrupt bump between the transition of smooth to very rough pavement. The bump started a slight wobble which caused an uncontrollable "tank-slapper" on the very greasy rough, damp asphalt. He was able to slow down enough before being ejected off his luge to prevent any major injuries. Speed was estimated (based on a previous GPSed run on a classic luge) at 60 mph.
