Here I show you step by step how to add an additional layer of fiberglass to any longboard or skateboard you own. It is a simple procedure, but when done properly with the correct materials, it has a dramatic effect of the strength of the board. When finished, the board is only a few ounces heavier, but the strength is increased dramatically. I recommend using this technique for any avid rider who wants their boards to last. By placing one layer on the top of the board and one layer on the bottom of the board, you will make your board into a beast.
Materials Needed:
Foam Roller
6 oz Fiberglass Cloth (Not Fiberglass Matte)
West Systems Epoxy Resin & Hardener
West Systems Pump Kit
Razor Knife
Palm Sander & Sand Paper
